Muscle Meat and Bone
Each variety is prepared with one of the following
Ground: Chicken, Turkey, Pork, Beef, Duck, Salmon, Rabbit and Herring (when available).
(All of the above contain ground bone as an additional source of calcium).
Fresh Vegetables
PAWS-itively Raw Foods blends a small proportion of a variety of leafy green vegetables as a natural source of many essential nutrients.
Organ Meat
PAWS-ititvely Raw Foods selects only organs that provide essential nutritional value and includes them in careful proportions approximating what a carnivore would consume in the wild.
Arctic Vigor
ARCTIC VIGOR contains a high concentration of the polyunsaturated fat of Omega-3 - containing DPA, DHA and EPA - and a low concentration of the polyunsaturated Omega 6. These essential fatty acids are necessary in the maintenance of your dog's healthy life and a valuable pet supplement.
This is food grade oil suitable for human consumption. Studies have shown the beneficial effects that Omega 3 has for humans; these same effects can be realized for your pet as this can be used as a pet supplement.
The benefits of Omega-3 are well publicized and some of the benefits include: Increases circulation, reduces blood pressure, prevents inflammation and increases healing, reduces joint tenderness, stimulates the immune system, aids in digestion and shows noticeable benefits to skin and coat conditions. As an animals skin, nails, fur are made from proteins and fatty acids, these acids do not occur naturally in the body, and must be replaced.

Oil
After thawing each PAWS-itively Compete meal, it is recommended that Artic Vigor Marine Oil be added to provide a natural source of Omega 3/6/9 Fatty Acids.
DE
Diatomaceous Earth (DE) needs to be fed daily– for at least 30 days for tape worms, 90 days for lung worms, and 30 days for round, whip and hook worms due to their life cycle, and need to catch any hatching eggs. Once you start worming with DE do not stop the daily DE for at least 4 weeks as the infestation and dead dying worms can emit bacteria, toxins, ammonia and can cause a toxic overload.
Diatomaceous Earth is not a “poison” but a natural method of eliminating parasites by dehydrating them.
Do NOT get DE in eyes as it is a drying agent. If you have asthma or any other lung or breathing ailment were a mask when using DE. NEVER use pool grade DE as it can be poisonous.
DE may be beneficial for heartworm as well. There have been no formal studies done using DE for heartworm, but internal parasites that have a stage where they pass through the stomach would be susceptible to the dehydrating effects of food grade DE.
